Puppy and Kitten Care in Round Rock, TX
There's nothing quite like meeting a brand new puppy or kitten for the first time, and we mean that. Watching a family bring home their newest member and helping set that pet up for a healthy life is one of the most rewarding parts of what we do. We're genuinely excited to meet your new family member, and we're just as excited to be your partner for everything that comes next.
Starting
Off
Strong
Many puppies and kittens arrive with intestinal parasites, even ones that seem perfectly healthy, so deworming is one of the first steps we take together. We'll walk you through a deworming schedule appropriate for your pet's age and history, helping clear out unwanted hitchhikers early and giving your new pet the healthiest possible start.
Vaccines, Explained Instead of Just
Administered
Vaccine schedules for puppies and kittens can feel like a lot, and we don't think you should just take our word for it without understanding why. We'll walk you through which vaccines your pet needs, why each one matters, and what the recommended schedule looks like as they grow. Our goal is for you to leave every visit understanding the plan, not just holding a reminder card for the next appointment.
Socialization, a Vital Part of
Puppy and Kittenhood
The early months of your pet's life shape how they experience the world for years to come. We're happy to talk through socialization, helping your puppy or kitten build positive associations with new people, animals, sounds, and experiences during this important developmental window. A well-socialized pet tends to grow into a more confident, adaptable adult, and a little guidance early on goes a long way.
New puppies and kittens come with new behaviors, and not all of them are easy to interpret on your own. If you're noticing things that concern you, or you just want guidance on getting ahead of common issues, we offer behavior consults to help you understand what's normal, what's worth addressing, and how to approach training in a way that sets your pet up for success.
Spay and Neuter, Tailored
to Your Pet
When the time is right, we offer spay and neuter procedures tailored specifically to your pet and their individual health needs. Rather than applying a one-size-fits-all timeline, we take into account factors like breed, size, and overall health to help determine the best approach and timing for your pet.
Building the Foundation
for a Lifetime of Care
Bringing home a new pet is the beginning of a long relationship, and we want to help you feel prepared for all of it, not just the first few visits. From nutrition and preventive care to what to expect as your pet grows, we're here to help you build the knowledge and habits that support a lifetime of good health together.
